Dolly's Summer Day Camp offers an exciting, flexible and educational program for your four through eight year-old child. Our camp presents each child with a variety of daily activities, including daily swim classes, weekly field trips, computer play (we have 7 computers), nature hikes, arts and crafts, group and individual activities, special guests, music and just plain FUN! We are one of best summer programs anywhere. You may choose the weeks that you wish to send child AND the number of days each week.

We divide the children into six groups according to age. Each group has up to eight children. There is one counselor for each group with the exception of the youngest group which has two counselors.

Our schedule of activities is finalized by March 1st. You will notice that each day there is a different activity planned. Activities are scheduled each morning when it is cooler. Swim classes begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue throughout the afternoon (weather permitting). OUR POOL IS HEATED.

Our building is air conditioned to keep our campers cool even on the hottest days.

Our staff includes two certified teachers, a Red Cross certified Lifeguard, and five counselors (between 17 and 25 years of age) who are dedicated to caring for your child's needs.

You may choose the weeks that you wish to send child AND the number of days each week. Full day sessions are available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Extended Days are available 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You may plan your child's camp time around your other summer activities. Many parents enroll their child for two or three days per week for the entire summer!

All camp fees are due with your application. You may exchange a day for a different day in the future (space permitting). We accept personal checks and cash for payment. Consult your Camp Fee Schedule for more information on daily rates.

We also have a limited amount of Financial Aid available. Ask the director for an application form if you are interested in obtained financial aid.

Your registration fee entitles you to a camp visor, backpack and T Shirt. Extra T Shirts may be purchased for $6.00 each.

Every week our campers go on two field trips. We ride in a full sized school bus. We visit a variety of interesting and educational sites from the South Shore to Boston.

Note: There is no additional fee for admission and/or transportation on our field trips.

Campers must bring a boxed lunch each day. However, each week we designate one day as Papa Gino's Pizza day an done day as McDonald's Happy Meal day. On these days you may choose to send money for your child to have pizza or a hamburger, cheeseburger or chicken nugget Kid's Meal.

We provide a snack in the morning and in the afternoon. Ice water is available at all times on the playground.

We teach swim classes daily. We have two instructors in the pool at all times. All campers must bring a bathing suit and towel.

Many of our campers become proficient swimmers over the summer.

Please Note: All campers must be toilet trained. We do not have diapering facilities.

Dolly's Summer Day Camp complies with the Rules and Regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the Hingham Health Department.
